Advice for Non-Gamers

Do you ever get frustrated that your boyfriend spends more time gaming than spending time with you? Like... REALLY frustrated, to the fact that you begin to question if he even likes you. I too have a boyfriend who not only plays league, but many other games online-- and that's all he does every single day when he's not at school or work. You seem to be very understanding of him playing games, so I would like some advice...

I don't think any Gamer is purposely trying to make their non-gamer significant other feel unappreciated (if they are, they're a jerk. It's not the games.) Don't take their aloofness personally, they're just attentive towards other things than we are. Breaking this attention (light heartedly with good intentions) is a fun way to ease the tension and keep things exciting. Sort of like a game. Then you can be a gamer! (:
